“Death Takes a Holiday
Actually, death pressed on while I took a short break from death, but “Death Takes a Holiday sounds much more interesting than “Douglas Takes a Holiday. Or at the very least, it sounds a lot less like a children’s book. The opportunity to get out of town presented itself on short notice, so I left suddenly. The lack of internet access caused me to break my streak of posting new material at least every seven days. I apologize to anyone who has gotten tired of “dropping by only to see the same old post.
So here’s a new one…

Douglas:
So glad that you had a chance to get some “much needed” R&R. It sounds like your job is not only stressful, but also, at times…relentless.
We all need a little time away to recharge our batteries.
So glad, you are now back, as I truly injoy your posts.
As I have said before, you really should think of writting a book…you are very talented!!

hello again. so glad you’re back now so i can read more articles! i was just curious as to where you received your education to become a coroner today. you might have mentioned it in earlier articles, if so i apologize. i am interested in being a forensic scientist, and was just curious as to what the steps were that you took in order to be where you are today. thanks!

Heck, you NEED a break every so often! Don’t apologize for that…we all need it, but I think especially in a profession such as yours.
